sealord > The long-spined sea scorpion, Taurulus bubalis, is a member of the sculpin family.  This individual was captured accidentally in a gill net by a commercial fisherman.  It was photographed and released.  It is a common species on Guernsey's seashore.  In Guernsey females lay eggs inter-tidally from January to March.
