The jellyfish, Pelagia noctiluca, found in a rock pool near the Lihou Island Causeway on the west coast of Guernsey. I have seen this species in small numbers in Guernsey waters only in April. It is found stranded on both Guernsey's west and east coast depending on the wind and tide. I have not seen it every year.
