Jersey tiger moth Gouffre Gu south coast 260708 5788 smg
On the 26 July 2008 two Jersey Tiger moths, Euplagia quadripunctaria, were found on opposite sides of the cliff path at Le Gouffre on Guernsey's south coast in the Channel Islands. This moth was identified after a presentation on garden insects by Dr. Charles David of the Guernsey Biological Records Centre.  http://www.biologicalrecordscentre.gov.gg/   
Dr. Charles David had also identified a dead Jersey tiger moth that I found on a road in St. Peter Port, Guernsey the previous week.
