sealord > Two black striped white 'candy striped' flatworms, Prostheceraeus vittatus, can be seen in the lower left of the image under the orange sponge. The blue sponge, Terpios fugax, can be seen on the right side just below the middle of the image. The erect coralline algae, Corallina officinalis, grows around the orange sponge and foliose coralline algae grows over the rock below. This image was taken in Belle Greve Bay on Guernsey's east coast in a rock pool I have named 'crater rock pool' for reference purposes (See http://sealord.smugmug.com/gallery/1984411#127980518 ).
