On a sunny, warm (14 Celsius) late autumn afternoon about 3000 people walked along the beautiful Belle Greve Bay waterfront, with spectacular views of the islands of Herm, Jethou and Sark to the east, to show their elected representatives that they were against land-filling of Belle Greve bay for a housing development.
The wonderful view of Herm, Jethou and Sark from the Belle Greve Bay waterfront, which will be lost if the Long Port Group proposals to landfill a portion of the bay to create islands for housing go ahead. Image taken during the Save Belle Greve Bay march on 26 November 2006
