An electric Citroen Nemo van operated by the Environment Department of the States of Guernsey
Andrew McCutcheon of the States of Guernsey Environment Department unplugging the charger from the Citroen Nemo electric van on 6 November 2009.
The van has been converted from a petrol engine to an electric motor using lithium batteries for power. The conversion was performed by The Electric Vehicle Company, which is located on Guernsey's west coast. The van has easily in excess of a 50 mile range per charge.
