Marine life found in the Queen Elizabeth II marina in St. Peter Port, Guernsey, Channel Islands, Great Britain

During May and June the Queen Elizabeth II marina in St. Peter Port harbour receives huge numbers of zooplankton and juvenile fishes with the incoming tide. This larval left-eyed flatfish was collected from the marina and photographed in a Petri dish. It had a total length of about 10 mm. It was collected and photographed on the 28 May 2007.
