sealord > This sea slug, Tritonia plebeia, was found gliding along the side of a pontoon in the Queen Elizabeth II marina on the 26 April 2007.  It was collected for photography in an aquarium and then returned to the marina the following day.

sealord > A large bryozoan eating sea slug Janolus cristatus searching for food and spawning sites on the side of a pontoon in the Queen Elizabeth 2 marina, St. Peter Port, Guernsey.  Above the nudibranch there is a Devonshire cup coral Caryophyllia smithii. To the right there are a couple of light-bulb sea squirts, Clavellina lepadiformis, and to the left is the solitary ascidian Ciona intestinalis.

sealord > During May and June the Queen Elizabeth II marina in St. Peter Port harbour receives huge numbers of zooplankton and juvenile fishes with the incoming tide.  This larval left-eyed flatfish was collected from the marina and photographed in a Petri dish.  It had a total length of about 10 mm.  It was collected and photographed on the 28 May 2007.
